Personal Perspective

As "Silverlight Geek" and "Community Program Manager"  it is my job to build and maintain your satisfaction with programming Silverlight in any way I can. I've been allowed to build on two decades experience as a programmer, teacher and author to create code, presentations, and content directed at professional programmers including  videos, tutorials and most important lately mini-tutorials and projects like the Turing project.

I'm also part of an incredible team that includes some of the best and brightest people at Microsoft.

After 2 years, I love this job. I've met more interesting people, learned more and had more fun doing it than I have any right to expect in these times. I am deeply grateful.

I work from home in the Cambridge/Boston area but I go to Redmond frequently to check in with the team and the first thing they always ask is "what are you hearing in the community?" -- so be sure to let me know what you think because the folks writing the code want to know and I'll do my best to be a faithful reporter.

Specific feature questions are often answered faster in the forums, but don't hesitate to contact me:
