VideoWiki Design Step 1

The initial approach to designing the VideoWiki is to layout all the obvious pieces of the design, understanding that this will evolve over time.  Here is my first cut at the design.

If you have Silverlight 3 installed, the following is the live interactive outline, otherwise, below is a snapshot of the outline as an image,

OutlineImage1 OutlineImage2 OutlineImage3

While this lays out the topics I hope to cover in the next six months or so, it says nothing about schedule, or how to illustrate these topics or even how these topics relate directly to the VideoWiki (with some obvious exceptions. But it is a start; it is, to harken back to yesterday's analogy, stimulus applied to overcome the axon hillock.

Jesse, although I have SL3 runtime on this machine that I'm reading this blog, but your SL island just shows 100% but nothing more in FF3 but works fine in IE8.

Hope this helps!

Ben

FireFox 3.0.7 on Vista 32 and on Vista 64 and Firefox 3.0.8 on Mac Leopard all work fine displaying the streaming Silverlight 3 app. Could you possibly try again?

Thanks.

Jesse, I just did another test and works fine. Thanks!

However, I've also found a problem with the MSDN site

msdn.microsoft.com/.../system.windows.media.effects.dropshadoweffect(VS.96).aspx

Where as none of "Run this Sample" work in FF, but work in IE8. I had sent a report a while back and nothing was fixed. Could you notify the right person?

Thanks for your "hard and detailed" work!

Somehow the above link did not make it. Here it is again. See if this time makes it.
