A couple big ones being GPU acceleration in windowed mode, and full mouse-wheel support (file bugs/feature requests with WebKit and Firefox teams if necessary). The other big gain would be PPC support. I know that's highly unlikely, but would remove the one remaining valid argument I hear over and over again to go with Flash instead of Silverlight. As it is I have to setup a Windows server with terminal services to support our art department which is still using G4s (and even some G3s). That's a pain.

Thanks for your personal support of the Mac platform!

CAL/Prism. I'm very inclined to use Prism in the 2nd phase of this project (after a working first approximation is completed) but I think the first part is so clear in my head that I can put it together with just a few day's work (where few is a number between 4 and 15). I need to get on that before someone else does (smile) and then that, I think, will be the foundation moving forward.

Project Tuva: while I think it is related to what I have in mind, and is GREAT, it is also somewhat different (but I need to look more closely). If it is possible to get a look at (and steal from ) the source, that would be truly terrific.

rickj1: you provided my dream reaction. Now all I have to do is code it.

Thank!

Hi, regarding modularity, are you planning to use a custom approach, or stick to a guidance like CAL.

Benefit of using CAL:

Feedback on feasibilty and possible improvements to CAL. Not reinventing the wheel.

Drawbacks of CAL:

Initial learning curve. But in my opinion CAL is ok even for beginners, and being "forced" to learn a little bit about it was, at least for me, very useful...

Greetings from Berlin,
