I had missed that video, and now I can see why I missed or dismissed it, because it was related to SL 1.0 and never bothered to look at it. I'll go back to see if it will help.

I'm now watching your other three videos...

Don't loose your passion for teaching!

You can find it here: silverlight.net/.../learnvideo.aspx

I'd like to take a look at updating this for SL2, and see if we can do even more decoupling.

This is a none related subject to this blog, however it's an old question that's becoming new for me now.

One of the very first videos/tutorial you had done, was about bookmark within a video and how a SL app can respond to those bookmarks at runtime.

I saw a few other demos from others who all showed the same pattern, except I have a problem with that pattern and I'm wondering if we can re-open that case again.

(Actually, you and I went back & forth but did not resolve it) When you were creating that video with book mark, you were the author of the video, knowing the bookmark "ID" and the location of the bookmark and what it stands for. Then you, as the programmer, wrote a "Specific" SL app that YOU knew what the bookmark IDs were and then in the code, you hard coded specific "Switch" statements to deal with each bookmark that you knew ahead of time.

The problem is that, Your app was tightly integrated with that video only and you were the Video author and the programmer in this case. But in many cases, the video is authored by someone else and the program is written by another person and perhaps another location and secondly, that same app should be generic enough to work more than one video.

I posted these questions to you and we never got to the heart of the matter (many months ago), but I need to deal with this issue and I was wondering if you can lead me to the right direction?

Thanks!
