What's the latest on your book? I've had it pre-ordered since late December. It's now over a month late (originally Feb 1, 2009).

I meant JS with Silverlight 2. I don't know how much interest there is, but we have some people at our company that are much more comfortable with JS than C# or VB, and we can leverage their time spent with Silverlight 1.

I can imagine a scenario where someone builds a control in C# that can then be placed in declarative XAML and modified in JS without those folks ever having to open up a copy of VS. Of course, moving them to .NET is the ultimate goal, but not everybody will be there right away.

Also, I think just getting into the Silverlight mindset is important. One of our people today was talking about how he sees plenty of tutorials about Grids, StackPanels and such, but is more confused about when to use each than how to use them.

Adler, are you asking if we'll talk about using JavaScript with Silverlight 2 or are you asking if we'll cover Silverlight 1? (The title of the book is Programming Silverlight 2, <hint> ). :-)

Is there much interest in using js with Silverlight 2 do you think?

Does this book go into using JavaScript with Silverlight 2? I use C#/VS2008, but most of the people at my company are used to Silverlight 1 and JavaScript, and most resources focus on the .NET side of things (understandably).
