This has been very imporant in the control development I have done in silverlight.

Specially since once you create a content control, your application can't find controls in that container using the find method.

The contrainer control as a subject can get very confusing but is very important.

I'd still love to see the following :

1. Creating a template-able control from scratch (like the one in Parts and states model #3

(scorbs.com/.../parts-states-model-with-visualstatemanager-part-3-of-4)

2. Isolated Storage : Is is possible to share it between 2 instances of the app running? Perhaps some adv scoping ?

3. Creating dynamic animations from code. For instance, let's try to create a motion path F=f(x) and have an object follow it from start to end and back ?

4. Duplex communications ? We've explored the async model pretty well, how bout duplex stuff?

Best regards

I would like to see some good examples of line of business app. It would be better for me to understand the concept if you create one from the scratch. Also a little discussion on cross-domain issue.

As most websites rely heavily on search engine traffic if silverlight can't successfully tackle it then it limits the actual usage as a viable product when it comes to the development of websites.
