Why do you need to use MouseEnter/Leave? To do this programmatically, can't you just say:

myButton.Cursor = Cursors.Hand;

If you aren't hovering over the button, the cursor is automatically set to the default.

How would one accomplish this effect using a custom cursor? I didn't see the cursor object accepting any parameters to use a custom resource or graphic.
